I believe relationships are at the core of who we are as human beings. We are created for connection, belonging, and meaningful relationships with others. However, throughout life, we all experience moments of pain, loss, disappointment, trauma, and struggle. These experiences can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward.
Whether you are seeking counseling because of grief and loss, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, or simply a desire for personal growth, reaching out for support is a courageous step. Therapy provides an opportunity to explore the difficult and meaningful parts of our lives in a safe, supportive environment. Through this process, we can develop greater self-awareness, understanding, healing, and a deeper connection with ourselves and others.
I believe meaningful change occurs through a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, honesty, and respect. As we work together, we will explore your unique experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals. My hope is to provide a safe and compassionate space where you feel heard, valued, and supported as you work toward healing and growth.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based psychotherapy and is influenced by Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care. For clients who wish to include faith as part of their counseling experience, I am comfortable integrating Christian faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process.
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University and completed my clinical internship at Gonzaga University. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington State, I continue to pursue professional growth through supervision, continuing education, and specialized training to provide quality care to my clients.
Outside of counseling, I value time with family, meaningful relationships, nature, reading, listening to music, singing, playing my flute, and opportunities for continued learning and personal growth. I believe that life experiences shape who we are, and I appreciate the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they discover healing, hope, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Q&A
Q. Some therapists are more comfortable addressing the immediate problem, while others want to focus on the deeper issue. Which are you?
I take a balanced approach. It depends on the client and their individual needs. Sometimes it’s important to address immediate concerns first, while other times it’s helpful to explore the deeper issues contributing to those concerns.
Q. Do you tend to lead the session, or follow my lead?
I encourage clients to guide the direction of the session based on what’s most important to them. At the same time, I provide gentle guidance and redirection when it would be beneficial. I also welcome feedback and collaboration to ensure therapy is meeting the client’s needs.
Q. What are your strengths as a therapist?
My strengths include compassion, empathy, active listening, trustworthiness, and providing a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and valued.
Q. If you had one superpower, what would it be and why?
If I could choose one superpower, it would be the ability to see the future—not to change it, but to better understand which therapeutic approaches would be most helpful and lead to the best possible outcomes for each client.
Q. What makes you laugh?
A baby’s contagious laugh can make me laugh uncontrollably. I also enjoy the unexpected and often hilarious things that pets do.
Q. Who would you have dinner with, dead or alive?
My first choice would be Jesus. After that, I would choose to spend time with loved ones who have passed away, enjoying the opportunity to talk with them again.
