I believe therapy is a courageous step toward healing, and I feel honored to walk alongside people as they uncover their strengths, rewrite old patterns, and build relationships that feel more secure and fulfilling.

I became a therapist because I believe people deserve spaces where they can be fully seen, deeply supported, and gently challenged toward growth. I work with couples, families, and teens who are navigating relational stress, communication struggles, identity questions, and the emotional weight of anxiety or depression. My style is warm, steady, and collaborative—I want clients to feel like they can exhale when they walk into the room.

My work is shaped by systemic therapy, CBT, humanistic principles, and attachment theory. I am trained in Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method and use these tools to help couples strengthen their connection and navigate conflict with more clarity and compassion.

When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family and friends, going to trivia, cooking a new recipe, or walking the waterfront!

Q&A

Q. Some therapists are more comfortable addressing the immediate problem,  while others want to focus on the deeper issue. Which are you?

I tend to take a holistic approach here; while I want to hear about the immediate problem, I also think it’s important to understand the “underneath” of it all as well.

Q. Do you tend to lead the session, or follow my lead?

I do a little bit of both! Depending on your preference, I can let you lead the session which I believe gives you a sense of autonomy and choice. Other times people are unsure what to talk about in therapy, so in those cases I can absolutely take the lead and direct our sessions. Either way, I want clients to feel comfortable in the therapy space.

Q. What are your strengths as a therapist?

I have a warm and inviting presence, am compassionate, caring, and can be direct when needed.

Q. If you had one superpower, what would it be and why?

Teleportation, so I could avoid traffic and/or go to places I’ve never been before.

Q. What makes you laugh?

So many things; my friends and family, people being silly, and just random things.  I love a good laugh!

Q. Who would you have dinner with, dead or alive?

I’d looove to have dinner with John and Julie Gottman, Marcello Hernandez, or Taylor Swift.
