As a therapist, my goal is to provide a compassionate and grounding space where clients feel deeply seen and supported in their healing journey. I believe that meaningful change happens when we connect mind, body, and emotion — and I approach therapy through a somatic and strengths-based lens that honors the whole person.
In my work, I draw from evidence-based practices including EMDR therapy, CBT, and strengths-based therapy to help clients process trauma, navigate life transitions, and build a stronger sense of self. I view each client as the expert of their own experience, and I see my role as a collaborator who helps uncover the resilience, insight, and capacity for growth that already exists within them.
Clients often describe my style as warm, authentic, and down-to-earth. I believe humor, curiosity, and compassion can all coexist in the therapy room, and I strive to create an environment where people feel comfortable being their true selves — even in the messy parts of life.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy exploring new coffee shops, going to comedy shows, spending time with my loved ones, and cozying up at home with a good book and my two cats.

Q&A with Gabby
1.) Some therapists are more comfortable addressing the immediate problem, while others want to focus on the deeper issue. Which are you?
I believe both the immediate problem and the deeper issue are important, and I tailor my approach to what each client needs in the moment. Sometimes we start by addressing the immediate concern to help you feel more stable and supported, and other times it feels right to explore the deeper roots that may be driving certain patterns or emotions. My goal is to meet you where you are — balancing relief in the present with long-term healing and growth.
2.) Do you tend to lead the session, or follow my lead?
I see therapy as a collaborative process. I’ll guide the session when it’s helpful — for example, introducing techniques, asking questions, or helping you process difficult emotions — but ultimately, you are the expert of your own experience. I follow your lead in exploring what’s most important to you and what feels safe and meaningful.
3.) What are your strengths as a therapist?
I would say my strengths are creating a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen and understood. I’m skilled at connecting mind, body, and emotion in therapy, using evidence-based tools, mindfulness, and somatic approaches. I’m also naturally curious, empathetic, and patient, which helps me support clients as they uncover resilience and growth within themselves.
4.) If you had one superpower, what would it be and why?
I’d choose teleportation! Partly because I love travel and the idea of exploring new places on a whim at no cost, and partly because I’d love to see my friends and family anytime, no matter where they are.
5.) What makes you laugh?
Clever humor and puns always make me laugh, and my cats provide a steady dose of unintentional comedy at home. Between their antics and spending time laughing with friends and family, there’s rarely a day that doesn’t include some kind of silliness.
6.) Who would you have dinner with, dead or alive?
I would love to have dinner with all of my great-grandparents, who I never got to meet. I’d want to hear their stories about raising my grandparents and learn what life was like during their time — the challenges they faced, the lessons they learned, and the ways the world has changed since then.
